Location: Cork Salary: up to €133 per hour
Diagnose, manage, and treat a variety of general medical conditions. Supervise junior doctors and contribute to their training and development. Participate in ward rounds, clinics, and on-call duties as required. Work collaboratively with other specialties to ensure integrated patient care. Maintain accurate and timely patient records in accordance with hospital policies. Engage in audit, quality improvement, and professional development activities.
Requirements: Full registration with the Irish Medical Council (IMC). Specialist registration in General Internal Medicine (or eligibility). Proven experience at consultant level in general medicine. Excellent communication, leadership, and organisational skills. Flexibility to adapt to the demands of a locum role.
